Newborn foals and lactating mares require special attention. The HORSE PROTECTOR foal monitor enables continuous monitoring of horse health around the clock. Experience from more than 4,000 successfully monitored births and the first weeks afterwards were incorporated into the development. The foal monitor records and analyzes the drinking, movement and lying behavior of the foal and mare in real time. If there are any abnormalities, an alarm is sent via call or push message – for example if the foal is not drinking enough. In addition, the system offers a colic alarm for the mare after birth, ensuring that immediate action can be taken in an emergency. With the HORSE PROTECTOR foal monitor, breeders and veterinary clinics are comprehensively and best prepared for problems in the sensitive first weeks.
